SALHADIN SAID READY TO FACE OFF WITH MALAWI IN AFCON QUALIFIER

Ethiopia’s Walia Ibex captain Salhadin Said is buoyant ahead of the important clash against Malawi flames on Wednesday in Blantye.
Coming from a heartbreaking 1-2 loss to Algeria in Addis Ababa over the weekend the Al Ahly and Ethiopia all time scorer vowed to lead his team mates to an important win against the Flames whom he termed as a good team .
Said who played an instrumental part against Algeria but was denied a goal several times by flamboyant Algeria keeper Rais Mbolhi intimated that it was important to get all the 3 points away from home.
“Malawi is a very tricky side and we cannot underrate them even if they lost against Mali.We are determined as a team to make amends after the weekend loss to Algeria by working hard to get the elusive win.I know it will not be easy but as long as we play as a team and are determined then nothing will be impossible against the Flames”‘

Ethiopia under new coach Mariano Barreto will be looking for the elusive win since last winning in September 2013 against Central Africa Republic in a World Cup qualifier.
Salhadin Said is the man that will be responsible to get the goals upfront together with Al Ittihad Alexandria player Umed Ukwiry and Bidvest Wits Getaneh Kebede.
