According to Seth MacFarlane, creator of the character , Stewie is thrilled to go to Ethiopia and perform live on New Year's eve. MacFarlane said that Stewie will be accompanied by the Ethiopian character Tinchelu Petros.
Stewie added that he is practicing on his Amharic and Kirar skills and plan to sing Mohamud's Tizita song at Sheraton Addis.
When asked about the last year performer R.Kelly's crappy performance at Sheraton Addis, Stewie asked "Who is RKelly?" and added "She must be Dedeb!".
Even though a lot of people in Ethiopia are happy about Stewie's visit, the Ethiopian Senziro didn't like that Stewie griffin is going to his home country. “If Stewie comes to Ethiopia, I am going to kick his American-football-shaped-head and send him back to Quahog, Rhode Island”, Senziro warned.
