Ethiopian Maid flees with jewelry

An Ethiopian woman in her 30s stole her sponsor’s jewelry and fled from the latter’s house in Mubarak Al-Kabeer recently, says Al- Seyassah. According to security sources, when a Kuwaiti woman, who works at the Ministry of Health, returned home after work, she was surprised to find her housemaid missing. She went to her bedroom to discover her clothes thrown around on the floor. She realized her jewelry worth KD 1,500 as well as her housemaid’s passport was missing. She immediately informed the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior about the theft after which security men rushed to the location and examined the bedroom. They collected evidences and lifted fingerprints. A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to find the suspect.
