Ethiopian Journalists released from jail on bail
Ethiopian journalists ABDUL SEMED MOHAMED & HAYLEIYESY WERKU who has been held in jail for more than a year, released on bail.  The Lideta federal high court on Thursday granted bail after 15 months in jail since police took them into custody on charges of misusing state property. The two journalists had been working for the Ethiopian radio and television agency in reporter and editor positions. The two journalists will defend themselves until the final verdict of the court. Journalist HAYLEIYESY WERKU released from the Kaliti, prison on the Friday afternoon. But ABDUL SEMED MOHAMED is still in Kaliti and expected to be released on Monday after up on completion of prison procedures.
