Ethiopian PM dismiss criticisim after arresting his opposition - Interview

Earlier this week, #Ethiopian authorities confirmed that they had custody of opposition leader Andargachew Tsege who they extradited from #Yemen last month. Rights groups and the UK government have criticised the move, fearing that Mr Tsege could face torture, or even the death penalty. In a rare interview Prime Minister Hailemariam Dessalegn states that he will not be swayed by foreign pressure on Ethiopian matters. He spoke to the BBC's Emmanuel Igunza who first asked him about the lack of political space in light of the upcoming elections in 2015.
