internationally recognized producer of telecommunications equipment explained
promoters. It hopes to be able to introduce Voice Over IP and Closed Circuit TV
services to the Ethiopian market. The services haven’t been allowed in Ethiopia
as of yet.
View Computer Engineering has agreed with Karel to supply
its products on the Ethiopian market according to Esayas Efa Managing Director.
Karel offers a range of PBX products including a product that can support
32,000 system lines said Esayas.
PBX products like Alcatel, Panasonic, Uni phone are already
available on the Ethiopian market.
Fifteen companies are registered with the government Telecommunications
Agency to provide PBX services in Ethiopia.
There is a shortage of supply and variety in the products
available on the Ethiopian market at the present according to Behailu Tsegaye,
