FULTON COUNTY, Ga. -
The suspect in the fatal shooting of a Fulton County
Police officer was out on bond from an alleged violent incident late
last year.
Fellow officers say Amanuel Mengesha never should have been let out. The district attorney agrees.
In the Nov. 28th incident, police were called by the fiancée of the suspect after she says Mengesha choked her as well as his juvenile daughter.
He also showed both his firearm allegedly saying he had a bullet reserved for each them.
Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard says the allegation warrant incarceration without bond, but that decision, of course, is left up to the judge.
